"The Good Dinosaur" Gets Its First Official Trailer

Image via ComingSoon.net

The first official trailer for Pixar's The Good Dinosaur has hit the web. Unlike the teaser trailer that was released last month, this full-length trailer focuses heavily on our main characters Arlo and Spot and shows the beginning of their friendship as well as parts of their adventure together. The visuals in this movie are incredible, but the scene that sold me completely on this film is the beautiful scene with the fireflies, which can be seen above. It's hard to know from the two trailers we've had for this film so far if there is much in the way of dialogue, since between the two trailers all we hear is Arlo say "Hello?". Maybe we'll see more of that in future trailers but either way, I'm very excited for this movie. The Good Dinosaur is set to hit theaters on November 25, 2015, which will mark the first time ever that Pixar releases two films in one year.

Classic Movie Monday: "Rear Window" vs "Disturbia"

There are certain classics that, in theory, should be much harder to re-imagine than others. Often times, it’s very difficult to modernize certain aspects of a story, whether it be the topic or story plot. By all accounts, Alfred Hitchcock’s mystery thriller Rear Window should have been difficult to adapt in 2007. Rear Window ’s plot makes the film date itself more than other Hitchcock films. Having nothing else to do, Jeff passes the time by spying on the people from the apartment complex across from his. When he sees what he believes to be a murder at the hands of a man named Thorwald, Jeff takes it upon himself to solve the crime. Rear Window remains one of Hitchcock’s most decorated films, so it is no surprise that eventually someone would try and remake it. The question, however, is how? The idea...

Film Review: "Avengers: Infinity War" (Non-Spoiler)

For the past ten years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been steadily building a world in which superheroes and supervillains could live in. In that time, audiences have seen these heroes put their lives on the line in order to save the world, over and over again. These heroes have grown and matured right before the eyes of audiences who have done the same. Fans of the MCU have invested countless hours watching and debating the events of every film within this cinematic universe. Now, a decade and 18 films later,  Avengers: Infinity War  is here to tie every single one of those films together. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo,  Avengers: Infinity War  isn’t just a culmination of everything that Marvel has done, it is its most daring film to date. The MCU has gone beyond the physical world, having proven that these characters can travel across time, space and even different dimensions. This is the first time, however, where they attempt to bring all of that int...
