Tom Hardy's "Legend" Gets Release Date

Image via StudioCanal Universal's upcoming crime thriller, Legend , has found its release date. The film, which stars Tom Hardy, will be released October 2nd of this year which is right around the start of the Oscar season. The film revolves around Reggie and Ronnie Kray, the twin brothers who were the leaders of organized crime in London during the 1960's. This date makes sense for this film as the studio seems very excited about it and will most likely push very hard for an Oscar nomination for Hardy, who will be playing both brothers in this film.

New Trailer and Poster for Crimson Peak

Image via IMDB Universal has released a new poster and trailer for their upcoming horror film, Crimson Peak , and they are both fantastic! First off, the trailer does exactly what a trailer should do which is create interest in the film. I have always loved horror movies and I have seen the change that this genre has undergone through the years. This is now a genre that relies heavily on very generic stories and very cheap and dull attempts at scaring the viewer. There have been very few truly scary films in recent years, and Crimson Peak  looks to be one of those. This trailer showed us mysterious characters in the form of siblings portrayed by Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain as well as terrifying creatures that you would come to expect from director Guillermo del Toro. But what stood out the most to me was the fact that there seems to be an actual story driving this film, rather than being a horror film that tries super hard to scare you without really developing an intrigui

"Captain America: Civil War" Cast and Plot Revealed!

Image via BuzzFeed If you thought that you would have to wait until Avengers: Infinity War to see the team in action once again, guess again. The official cast for Captain America : Civil War has been revealed and it is looking mightier than Thor himself. Let's rundown the announced cast: Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, all of which have been with us since the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Then we have the new members of the team with Anthony Mackie returning as Falcon, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett Witch, and Don Cheadle as War Machine. This will be the second movie in a row in which we will get to see Paul Rudd as Ant-Man and the first time we will see Chad Boseman as Black Panther, before getting his own movie in 2018. Sebastian Stan will be returning as the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes. Emily VanCamp will be back as Agent 13, as well as Fr

New "Ant-Man" Poster Has Been Released!

Image via Bing Images Marvel has released a new poster for the upcoming "Ant-Man" movie and while it's not a breathtaking poster, it is still pretty cool. You can see all of the main characters from the movie, including Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, and Corey Stoll as the villain Darren Cross (aka Yellowjacket). We can also see Paul Rudd as both Scott Lang and his superhero alter-ego, Ant-Man. If you look closely at the Marvel sign you will see a miniature version of our hero, which I thought was a pretty neat thing to add. Also, the city and helicopters in the background do a great job at highlighting the theme that this movie will carry, which is that of a heist film. Overall, it's the type of poster we have come to expect from Marvel movies, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron"

(Picture via Bing Images) Before we get started, let's get one thing out of the way: I absolutely love the first "Avengers" film. It is a very special movie for me and in many ways it is the reason why I am writing here today. Inevitably, people will always ask if the second movie was better to the original, so as I compare "Age of Ultron" to it, keep in mind the high regard in which I hold the original. In my eyes, "Age of Ultron" is just slightly better. While some might disagree, the fact that this is an argument that can be had says a lot about this film. ***WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD*** "The Avengers: Age of Ultron", directed by Joss Whedon, kicks off with a fantastic action scene that serves as a way to show the viewer that this is not the team's first mission together since the last film. Instead, we are told that this is actually the last in many missions together to find Loki's scepter. The action itself is also very c
